Sara LeePage 1/2

Sara Lee was born in Wales in 1956. After graduating in fine art painting at Ravensbourne in 1979 she went on to complete a postgraduate degree in printmaking at the Central School of Art in 1982.

Sara's images are a response to the fleeting nature of landscape. With works on paper, film and print, including woodblock in the ukiyo-e tradition, she works from site-specific landscapes followed by extended studio-based work.

Sara's work is held in public and private collections internationally. She has written for the Tate and has advised and spoken on print processes for various individuals and institutions including The Art Fund, The Royal Academy Schools and the National Portrait Gallery. Sara lives and works in London.
