Born 1956
Ardyn was educated at Haberdasher's Askes, London and won a scholarship to study English at Pembroke College, Cambridge. In 1977 he won a university travel scholarship to study wall mosaic design in Iran and Afghanistan.
He has enjoyed many successful solo exhibitions across the globe including in London, Israel, France, Italy, Spain and America. His works are included in many public collections including The Jewish Museum, New York, The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, The New York Public Library, Swissca, Zurich, and the Seinan Gakunin Museum, Japan.
Ardyn works with varied mediums including silkscreen, oil painting, and stained glass installations. He has been involved with many exciting public art projects including the design of the centre and stained glass windows for the 'Yad LaYeled' Ghetto Fighters' Museum in Israel; the stained glass windows for the memorial to the Rwandan Genoicde, Kigali, Rwanda; and a bronze statue for 'Your Fellow Man', 'Yad LaShirion' - The Armoured Corps. Latrun, Israel.
Ardyn has won many awards for his art including the National Print Exhibition First Prize: Julian Trevelyan Hon RE Memorial Award and the Gavin Graham Outstanding Printer Award both at the 1998 National Print Exhibition.
Ardyn lives and works with his family in Israel.
