Maxine Gregson

Maxine Gregson contemporary artist and printmaker. After a rich background as a commercial graphic designer, she delved into her passion for printmaking. Her artistic pieces intricately blend photo collage, graphical elements, grids, and typography and are often described as ’Nostalgic Futurism’. Drawing inspiration from music lyrics, literature, and vintage photography, she merges old and new imagery to craft unique narratives. Her work often intertwines typography and grid structures with architectural and landscape elements, blending vintage and retro aesthetics with contemporary imagery to form innovative realities. Maxine utilises the CMYK printing process to seamlessly merge diverse elements. 

Maxine’s work has been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023 & 2024,  the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2024 & 25, and showcased in The Guardian & Observer Magazine.
