C Alan

 C Alan is an alias of  London-based artist Christopher Roantree. Trained at the Royal College of Art, C Alan specialises in traditional etching and the development of the intaglio print tradition.

As half of the collaborative practice Roantree x Kummattummal, his work explores landscape and tackles themes of environmental discord, cultural histories, and multidimensional storytelling.

As C Alan, the artist has been producing etchings which explore a deadpan and comedic tone not seen before in previous works. These have already been proven to be very popular and we are excited to see this body of artwork develop.
