Overview

We are delighted to welcome Ian Chamberlain to our stable of artists at Eames Fine Art.

We have long been admirers of Ian's fascinating works of monumental architectural structures depicted in such an intricate and powerful way.

Ian has had a long-standing fascination with technology and architectural forms especially the structures within industry, agriculture, science and the military. These have included Goonhilly Earth station, The Lovell Telescope, Cheshire Maunsell Sea Forts in the Thames estuary and the Acoustic Sound Mirrors on the South Kent Coast and he has many other exciting projects planned and coming up soon. Ian considers his work as a graphic historical record. By recording these structures he has started to highlight their historical, cultural and social impact documenting the architectural remains of human activity.

We will be showcasing a collection of etchings and drawings by Ian at the Studio this January and he will join us to talk about his work and take us through his process and interests.

We have personally talked with Ian many times about his works and we can't wait to share these interesting conversations and insights with you now.

Ian will be joining us at the Collectors' Studio on Saturday 17th Januay at 11.30am to talk about his work - you are welcome to join us.
