Blaze Cyan | In the Shadow of Trees

Blaze has been working on a very personal project, visiting many of her favourite spots in the British countryside - visiting familiar scenes but spending time with each tree or landscape to capture them in new light. She has been experimenting with different lights and the interplay of shadows from the trees and the stark contrasts of light and shade that the art of wood engraving allows her to play with so beautifully. 

She has collected her favourite works from this series and created an elegant collectors' portfolio of the 11 wood engravings. We will be launching this beautiful full set as well as selling the works individually at the Eames Studio throughout March.
