"Glimmers are small moments of joy and peace that arise from appreciating everyday experiences, such as enjoying a sunset or a child’s laughter."

Anita Klein's first exhibition of new paintings for over two years promises to be full of these special, life-affirming moments. The Eames Fine Art Gallery is filled with over 20 beautiful new paintings alongside painted sculptures and ceramics. These new works can be viewed below or in person, without booking, at the Eames Gallery.

Each of Anita's works is a pause; a reflection on a moment that made her happy and thankful. It may be something quite simple and everyday like enjoying the warmth of the sun on skin, watching a grandchild in deep concentration learning a new skill, or perhaps the feel of being in cool water on a hot day.  And just as the narrative for the work is based on a moment that made Anita happy, I think that we can all relate to her paintings; the works connect to our own souls and they are contagious - they, in turn, make us smile.

If the purpose of art is to relate messages and sentiment: to make us feel something - what could be better than this - making us smile, reminding us about how precious and marvellous life is?
