If you have been to one of our Christmas parties before, you will have no doubt tried one of our very special 'Rudolph Cocktails'!
In our opinion they are one of the most delicious Christmas drinks you'll ever try.
It was invented by me, Rebecca a few years ago when we found that mixing more elaborate cocktails was taking us too long on the busy auction nights. So I decided to experiment; putting together some of my favourite Christmassy flavours - my only rule to myself was that this new cocktail could only have three, easy ingredients so that we could make it quickly without crushing, blending, sieving or any other fuss.

And that was how the Eames Fine Art Rudolph was born! I think it's like a cherry bakewell in a glass!
We have been asked many times for the recipe, and it is actually deliciously simple:
Find a beautiful glass
Add a generous splash of your favourite amaretto, we use Disaronno.
Spoon in a cherry - we love black cherries soaked in Kirsch (M&S and Waitrose both do nice jars of these), but we also find that an old fashioned glacier cherry also has its own certain sweet charm in this drink!
Then top up with your favourite fizz: Crémant, Cava, Prosecco or of course Champagne.
I'm afraid you can't borrow the wonderful Alex to serve your drinks - you'll have to do that bit yourself!

And that's it - you've made your very own Eames Fine Art Rudolph Cocktail - I urge everyone to give this a go with friends and family this year - especially if you're a guest at someone else's house - what a great cocktail to bring and share... to go along with the artwork you have no doubt bought them as the perfect Christmas present...!
Enjoy x
