It is our pleasure to invite you to join us, along with a small group of other collectors, for an evening in the company of the artist Barrington Tobin as we launch his latest series of paintings. These 22 works were inspired by Barrington's move to the West Country in 2021 and were all created in his beautiful and peaceful new home studio at Gable Court.
We hope you'll join us for an evening of drinks and a light supper, with a chance to view and talk about the paintings with Barrington. This is the first time that these works will be offered for sale.
The filmmaker Louis Rizzo-Naudi has recently completed a beautiful short film about Barrington and his work featuring many of the paintings from this collection. In the film Barrington discusses his work at his home and studio. It is a beautiful and fascinating insight into this enthralling body of work.
We will be showing this film (20 minutes long) at the showcase evening on the 1 October. The film will be shown at around 7.00pm and will be followed by an informal Q&A session with Barrington and Louis with Vincent Eames.
