In June 2020, Eames Fine Art and the writers organisation ‘26’ embarked on a project that would unite artists and writers by encouraging them to talk and share ideas about the places that had meaning for them. These could be places they missed whilst in isolation, or places that brought them joy or solace at this time.
All 58 creatives who agreed to take part in the project met for the first time in June via Zoom. Artists and writers were paired randomly and with an intentionally open brief. The pairings were left to make contact and embark on their own creative journey with each other.
